Polling shows that 50% of Catholics continue to vote for candidates that do not share our values. This organization is committed to helping Catholics vote their faith. We will support any candidate, Republican or Democrat that shares our values on life, family and religious freedom. School Board elections are often confusing to voters. Most counties do not permit candidates to state their party affiliation. Very often we see where most candidates are teachers, administrators and former PTA officers. They have little experience managing a multimillion-dollar (Duval County's is more than $1 Billion) budget and setting goals and standards. We intend to focus on School Boards since they often have the greatest impact on our children. School Board races are relatively small districts. Many people decline to vote for School Board since they don't feel like they know enough to make a valid decision. We intend to supply the information to enable voters to vote with confidence. A small number of committed voters can impact a School Board race.

Rick Hartley here. I’m a member of Assumption Catholic Church in the San Marco area of Jacksonville. Except for time away in the Navy and ten years in Atlanta, I’ve always lived in northeast Florida. I was married to Mary Luker for 42 years before her death in 2018. We had a son and a daughter, both of whom live in Atlanta. I am engaged to be married to Kriss Herndon on June 4th. We met following weekday mass last year. We are truly blessed to have found someone to spend our final years together. I was in the Navy for 3 years and 27 years in the Naval Reserve, retiring as a Master Chief (E-9). I have lots of “sea stories”. My family has a printing company in Jacksonville and I was a salesman for 40+ years. I’ve always been interested in government and politics. I’ve volunteered for a campaign every election cycle since I was 22. After the 2000 election mess I became involved in Republican Party politics. I’ve served in various local party positions and on the State Republican Executive Committee and then was Chairman of the Republican Party of Duval County. I’ve been the campaign manager for several races. Even with my past party activities, I am committed to electing the candidate that can best represent my values, regardless of party. It frustrates me when voters don’t have proper information to make an informed decision. I intend to work with our team to provide information to help Catholics vote with confidence. I invite you to join me as we navigate this election season.
